Default 91 Ls400 air suspension question

Just wondering if anyone could give me an accurate answer when dealing with the stock air suspension on the 1st gen LS.

Im going to be working on some suspension parts this weekend and i wasnt 100% if i need to release the air from the airline on the front struts in the engine bay or if they could be accessed from the wheel well? If someone could give me a little suggestion i would be greatful.

Thanks,

Tony

I'm not sure about releasing the air b/c I haven't had to work on mine yet. Yet, I say. But don't forget to turn off the air system (switch in trunk) before jacking the car up. I forgot once and when I let the car down, all 4 fenders were sitting on the tires. What kind of suspension work are you doing?

Wink

I just completed replacement of both upper control arms on my car (front). It wad alot easier then I expected and the only issue I ran intowas separating the control from the steering knuckles. For my first time tackeling the issue I was able to complete the job in around 3 hrs with basic tools. If anyone is doing this for the first time my only suggestion is be real careful when taking apart the air intake system, while removing a vacuum hose on the system I broke the connecter and had to find a solution until im able to find a replacement.

next week ill be installing some megan coilovers to replace the factory air...
