I'm still not finished tho. The weather is too cold for me to ''touch it up'' . You get the idea. I actually hated the protrusion of the stock front bumper so I removed the bumper support, and tucked the 2000 jdm bumper to be flush. I am planning on adding a front lip to complete the look. Believe it or not, I was actually gonna do the 95-97 one first.

Hopefully I can continue when the weather starts to warm up. I want to fill in the license plate area, add front lip, a little more precision cutting/fitting, install the hid fogs that came with it, and then paint the entire car monotone.
I also have second gen side skirts that I'm gonna modify to fit, and a second gen rear bumper also in the works. Then wheels, then exterior lighting front/back, and then, and then, and then....................

about how much was it for the all the parts to change that out? what all needed to be cut to make it fit correctly. i wanna do this same thing on my 97 to a 98 front. i like the way yours looks. maybe with a front lip that your gonna add will make it look even better.

i hope you don't get in an accident soon, for your sake and that of your insurance.

if your insurance finds out you have no crash beam behind the bumper (which is the actual BUMPER btw, the exterior is just a cover) then you liable to have your insurance cancelled and the accident be put on your fault regardless of the circumstance.

oh, and you could be seriously injured, that too.


I like the idea you have, but the execution is really not there, at least not yet.
you really need to clean up the top edge and the sides, you can see the extra bumper material bulging up in the center, and im pretty sure that's a sizable gap at the top that you need to fill in due to the headlights....
