Slight vibration at 1-2K RPM
This car's drivetrain is stunning. I formerly owned Mercedes vehicles. So I have zero empirical experience to draw from and this complaint may be frivilous but here goes:
At one to two-thousand RPMs and only with my hand resting on the automatic shift handle I can feel a vibration that is reminiscent of a U-joint going out, but it is a very smooth vibration...ever so slight...barely perceptible but definitely there. It is accompanied by a little noise matching the frequency of the vibration I am feeling. But again this noise is very slight--but I do not think it is normal. It is on acceleration or when I drive at constant speed. It is something to do with the drivetrain behind the engine. I do not think it is the engine. All suggestions are greatly appreciated.
Sincerely,
Tim
