For some reason, I am getting condensation on the inside of my car. It's been happening for the past week or two. At first, I'm thinking cause of the cold weather, but I don't think that's the case. I thought a window might not be up all the way, but I'm positive that every window is up every time.

At times, it's usually just the front windshield, and sometimes the drivers side window. Rarely, has it happened on all 6 windows, but I never really notice the ones in the back cause of the tint, but the rear is noticeable at times.

I don't think that the manual will have anything to explain this, and I can't figure out why this would be happening to me. Would anyone happen to know why?

Well, my moon roof is out of order, so I'll check that and see if there is an opening in there or not.

But water in the car would really cause this happen?

I don't think it's the heater core. I'm in the middle of changing mine now b/c of fogged windows. The heater core would be spraying antifreeze and steem b/c the water/coolant is hot. I had steem coming from all the heater ducts and all windows got fogged. It seems like you have an opening somewhere, maybe the doors don't seal correctly or you have a hole through the firewall. Does it happen when you drive? When the car sits over night? Only in the rain?

It doesn't happen when I drive. But it seems to happen when it sits over night. Most of those nights either being from light/heavy rain, or real cold weather.

I had one instance, when it happened, I went to the DMV. That afternoon (around 2pm when I first got in the car for the day), it had condensation on the windows. Turned the heater on and it went away after like 5 minutes. Drove to the dmv, car was parked for less than 2 hours (it's about 4-5 pm by now), and when I came back to my car, it had condensation again. This is really baffling me, I think I'm gonna check all the windows and moon roof for any leaks or anything (how would I check for leaks on the moonroof though?)

Well, it's not the heater core. (good for you) If it was it would happen when you drive and you would see steem coming from the vents. The way to check the sun roof is to spray it with a hose (high pressure) and see if it leaks anywhere.

fix the heater core, let the inside of the car dry out thoroughly, and if you dont have anymore leaks you should be fine.
