Severe oil leak/burning oil
How much would it cost to get the severe oil leak and yes it is also burning the oil, to fix at the shop? It's a 93 Lexus LS400 btw. Helps & answers please

I'm guessing that the guys here area going to need a little more info, like where is it leaking from? Upper or lower? Other parameters? Last oil change? what kind of oil are you using? You need to give more information to get a better respose. welcome to the club.

Last oil change was 4 days ago, still leaking and from lower

You can start analyzing by taking the under-engine cover off, placing a clean sheet of cardboard or newspaper beneath the engine area overnight and letting us know where, precisely on the cardboard, that you notice leakage. If you can locate the general area of the leak and post a picture of the oily engine area, that would help as well.

from what i know it's leaking from several places since there's a few new oil spots every time it's parked and it is burning oil. from the looks of it i think if we were to take it to a shop to get all the leaks fixed, it will probably gonna cost as much as a good used engine. let's just say the entire head/block is covered in oil, grease, and nasty crap from the previous owner not taking care of it.

Just not enough info to make any conclusions. How many miles on engine?
Pull the plugs and might as well do a compression check to see how the cyls are doing. If it is high miles, it is worn, you'll be looking at a rebuild. On a '94 unless the rest of the car is good and you deem it worthwhile to keep it going, I'd say EOL.
