Default replaced rear rotors, now e-brake light flashes

I finally got around to changing the rear rotors on my car which had never been changed in it's 12 year life-span. The car was terrible when braking, and it took alot of distance and foot power to get it to stop. When we popped off the rear ones and comapred them to the new ones there was like a 1,400, or 14,000 difference in thickness (measured in MM??) forgot which, but now the brakes actually have some decent grip.

But something did go wrong with the e-brake setup. My 'family mecahanic' let's say, is quite impatient and kept fiddling with the e-brake clips and springs, and now the e-brake light on the dash keeps flashing when I accelerate but turns off when I step on the brakes. Also with the e-brake pedal pushed all the way down the car still rolls, so it's not really engaging. Maybe take a trip to the mechanic..the e-brake system seemed kinda complicated.

Anyway next is fuel filter, shocks, wires and Toquemaster plugs

The e-brake for your LS if just a drum brake inside the rear rotor. The mechanic that put your brake together did not installed it correctly.
