Default Value of late model LS400's

Heya guys,

I have been watching '99 and '00 LS400's and thinking about picking one up for my daily driver. I had an LS430 that I liked but ended up selling. I like the looks and style of the LS400 almost as well as the LS430. That being said...what do think is a ballpark price on a nice clean LS430 w say 75-80k miles? I am seeing them listed anywhere from around 10,500 on up to 15k. I don't want to pay into the teens....because that is really getting into LS430 pricing imho. I guess I wanna find the most car for the $$ I can get.

thanks for your input.

I think an LS400 with that mileage is reasonable around $10k

to be honest, getting one with close to 90k miles is probably a better buy if you can get one that has had the timing belt and related services done already. for me, it's either buy one <70k miles or above 90k miles.

price should be in the low 5 digits for cars of that type (~80-100k mi) for a 99-00 (knock a little bit off for a non-wood/non-hid '98)

thanks for your advice guys. Yes...If it's anywhere near 80 or 90k...I want that service done...or $$$$ discounted on the purchase price if I will have to do it shortly after purchase. thx
