Default Can you change a Nackamichi to a pioneer -98ls400

I have a 98 LS400 with a bad nackamichi head I think - no display - steady screaching sound with a faint reception of a station, can't change channels or switch between sources. Can I switchout a regular Pioneer radio for my nackamichi or are the plugs different? Thanks a lot!

the pioneer hu sends a high voltage signal, the nak amplifiers accept a llow voltage signal. to make the switch you would need to change everything (speakers) and do some splicing i'd imagine.

must exchange like for like unless you wanna swap out a lot more than just the headunit.

pioneer for pioneer, nak for nak.
