you most likely tore one of the ABS wheel sensor cables.
or you're low enough that you jacked up the harness in one of the front wheel wells.

Hello,

I have a similar problem, I´m on bags and I drive slammed.
ABS light never came on, but the pedal shakes sometimes
VSC warning light comes sometimes when I play with the switches or turn the wheels to end when I turn. I went to one shop and was told that the car computer can somehow understand that I´m low and that my wheels are not stock.
But yes, this doesnt give me any problem, I have checked all the wires and everything seems OK, so I dont really pay any attention now.

The clunking noise could be the suspension bottoming out. Did you buy the coilovers new or used? Did you adjust the coilovers using the bottom strut perch?

You may now have the caster/strut bars in a new position that the bushing does not like. As in the bushing is torn and now that it is stressed differently, it is clunking. Aside from the other advise, raise it up a bit and see if the noise persists.

That could be the control arms hitting the top of the wheel well, as I have a feeling you are super low. Post some pics so we can see your ride. Also double check your front left fender well above your tire to see if the wire harness is chewed up. If so you need to get on it and do a re-location and repair the wires asap because it will only get worse.

has anyone relocated the harness, and if so where? I checked mine last night and I've worn through the black tubing so that you can see the wires (haven't worn through any of the wires yet).

the "right" way to do it involves disassembling the main fusebox and removing the driver's side fender to reroute.

personally i've pushed mine as high up as i could and i still rub on it sometimes, at some point i'll have to go through that massive pain and strip the whole front end to reroute it.
