High rpms on startups on my 1996 LS400
On cold starts the car, idles at around 1500 rpms and gets down below 1000 on reverse and drive, but it does it again after sitting for a couple of hours after the first start up, I noticed hesitation and an exhaust noise and took it to the muffler shop and they said it needed an egr valve gasket, could this be causing the high rpms.
