Default brake light flashing

ok so ill try and make sense of this. I was getting a trac code of 19, i bled the trac system with dot 4 synthetic, not sure what was in there before. Now i took the car for a drive, accelerated hard around the corners to test the system, instead of the trac light flashing for some strange reason the brake light was flashing, the very same brake light that goes on when the parking brake is on. However the trac light has not come on yet, weird. I diagnosed it and it still showing code 19 with obd, but i have no idea how to reset the codes. Anyone have any ideas?

check the brake fluid level. the parking brake light will come on when the fluid level is low. top it off and it wont come on when the fluid sloshes around.

Oh ok cool, I was wondering why the trac light was not flashing when it should. However the light didn't show up either after a bit of driving. The level is in between fill and max, ill fill it a bit more.

On my 91 when I would release the parking brake, sometimes the pedal wouldn't retract to the very top and not trigger the sensor to turn off. That would make the computer think I was driving with the brake on causing the brake signal to flash as well.

omg yes thankyou, it worked perfect and my traction is working perfect.

Anyone who has the trac issue 19 let me know and i can guide you through my process of bleeding the trac system. It really was very easy to do, its amazing i was already going out to buy a new pump and accumulator.
