hey guys ive had my Megan coils on for a year already they are pretty much bottomed out . Jw if that really loud thumping noise is gna mess somthing up in the long run , it only happens when i hit a bump or slight pothole , of coarse not being able to avoid it . Im assuming thats just the shock bottoming out .

your megans shouldn't be bottoming out, thats probably your upper control arm hitting.

easy way to check is to go under the car and look up towards the strut mounts, you'll see a dime-quarter sized dent that may or may not be shiny.

Even at my height I'm able to hit the fender with the UCA. So you're probably doing the same like everyone said
