I know it's cheaper to just to replace an alternator, but has anyone ever REBUILT their old one. I'm looking for a rebuild kit. I've used the search function on here and nothing really popped up relating REBUILDING their own alternator.

In the old days I would just put new brushes in an alternator and be on my way. Might be worth a try.
