Default 2000 LS400 Check Engine Light

Just bought an 2000 LS400 with 52k miles earlier this week. After driving about 250 miles on it the check engine light came on while driving and wont go off. Any idea what the problem is?

no, have the code read. how do you expect us to tell you what the problem is when you basically tell us "i drove my car and the CEL came on, what's wrong?" ?????

i'll bite, please explain why a low tire will trigger a CEL on a car with a sensitive VSC without triggering that light and no TPMS?

drove it the next day and it turned off. dealer said it will come on if you the refill the tank after it was almost empty you may have to unscrew the gas cap and give it air for a bit.
