Default Bit of a transmission clunk

I have a bit of a clunk when I shift into reverse, It's still then when I shift into drive but not nearly as noticeable.

Is this a common problem or what? Should I flush the tranny and see if it gets rid of it?

Flushing is the last thing you want to do. Take it to a local tranny shop and have a tech check out the drive shaft bushing(s) and tranny mount. That usually happens when they are worn.

I'll just put it on the lift tomorrow, I was just curious if there was a common thing with these transmissions.

Bushings and mounts readily available or are they going to be a ***** to to find?

Thanks for the quick response BTW

I've never looked for aftermarket on bushings I always went with dealer parts. They are not hard to find!
You are in CA, try Carson Toyota. They are one of the cheapest around.

That's a lie lol when I signed up it wouldn't allow me to put CANADA haha, I'm actually from Ontario.

I don't like my local lexus dealer, they know I drive Nissans and don't really give a **** about me, even though I'm in the market for a big luxury sedan (m45 or a GS/LS)

I'll go to them if I have too (which I will since I need a new fob and master key)

Thanks for your help

Go to one of our online vendors and order them. Like Sewell Lexus ( I ordered a gasket from them), or Lexus of Pembrokpines I have heard people talk about.
