Default help

i got water in one of my tail light assemblies and need to know how to split it so i can reseal it.i already have it off...any info or links would be greatly appreciated, thanks guys

tails? use the same method people recommend for headlights i think, though im not sure if its the same type of seal. what you could do is just bake it At ~215* for a bit to get any residual condensation out then just reseal it after it cools slightly. dont see the point of taking it totally apart unless you need to clean it from the inside.

I used 3M Clear Marine Silicone Sealant on my front side marker. It works great. Its a much better product than what you'll find at a Home Depot or Lowes. Its two or three times the cost but in this case, you get what you pay for. I've used it on boats for many years and it's never let me down. It's available online or at any marine store such as West Marine.

thanks i think i have it fixed, will let u know when it cures and i water test it, btw u were right p/d,no need to split it
