Default Lambda sensor

on my 96 ls400 where are the lambda sensors located and how many of them as my mechanic is pulling his hair out as hes tried everything to get the right pass reading for the MOT but theres no lights on my dash to say theres any problems hes found 2 just after the cats

your mechanic is a ****** if he can't find the oxygen sensors on the ehxuast manifolds themselves, is he really a mechanic?

okay, well - they're on the exhaust manifolds. You can explain that fact to him slowly. It helps to point at the exhaust manifolds while you're explaining this. Maybe you can put a couple of bananas on the manifolds, he'll be sure to spot them! and eat them.
