Default celsior motor swap

Replacing my rodknocking 1uzfe with a appears to be a 95-97 celsior motor accordsing to the discriptiion found here http://www.lextreme.com/1uzfe_variants.html


jumping into it next week and was looking for ant documentation/ info on it. Things i noticed...

hydro fan
no egr "probably going to keep that way"
cut harness, im taking mine off and putting it on the jdm motor

I'm no stranger to swaps just looking to be a little ahead of the game i miss the LS.lol

I kinda...dont understand why you would swap to the jdm motor?

In my opinion either replace it with another 1uz or swap it to something crazy like a 2jz :P

I think its pretty much the same motor, it would be good to get a JDM much lower milage then you'll find in a comparible motor from a LS, I bet it'll be almost a direct swap.

I wanted a low mile engine , i bought a JDM one and it has 91k on it. im just sizing it up.

i have a Celsior and the motors are almost identical except for things like some of the evaporation capture and EGR.

not sure what you are looking for, but if i can provide any info, just ask.

yes, JDM motors are known for having low mileage. my car has ~130,000km (~81,000mi)

I've done lots of JDM motor swap and you usually get a lot of motor for the money. On the supras we just had to change the throttle linkage and a few other small parts, do the seals etc. but you end up with something really nice!
