I totally know how you feel. i just bought my 2.5(99) ls two weeks ago, i love it and so do my friends.

hi guys i had the same problem with the dash.... when i removed the climate control and sent it out for repair i was tired of looking at the dash cover......with the a/c vent out i was able to push the dash back to its normal position.... i used plastic 2 part epoxy and clamped it down... be careful not to clamp too hard and use protection... i think i used paint stick stirers...
