1990 ac compressor wont kick on
Hey everybody., i have a 90 ls400 and the compressor wont kick on it worked fine and cold and then all of a sudden it quit working. i changed the timing belt and checked the connection on the ac compressor ( one gray connector is that the only connection?) . i dont know whats going on , the guy i bought it from said that he just put $1000 worth of ac work done so im hella mad haha. any help would be overly appreciated thanks thanks thanks.

There should be two connections to the compressor. One is for the magnetic clutch and the other is the compressor rotor speed sensor mounted on the rear of the compressor. When you turn the A/C on, does the A/C light blink, or stay constantly lit?

i dont know what that means but mine turned out to be a massive leak i still havent found yet i replaced the o-rings on the lines into the compressor and checked the gasket that sandwiches the mounting place for the lines and it appeared fine but ima replace it since the leak detector is going crazy around that and it is tight
