Reveres light comes on when breaking also sometimes the dash light goes on and off
just bought this ls 400 1992 for 3k. everything was working fine. till a week later. now the reverse light comes on when breaking. also sometimes the dash light on the speedometer goes off and on. also the ac blows out hot air. how easy is it to make it blow cold air :-) lol. how much would it cost at a shop etc. should i go to a lexus dealer or toyota? also the antenna wont go down? how much would that cost to fix ty. oh wait also lol!! the owner said, they put a smaller catalyitc converter whiches why the car jump a lil when going over 70, something about how the air isnt passing through like it should cuz its smaller. but its find.

I'm starting to find it difficult to answer your first question -- I've answered it sooo many times. The most likely cause of your reverse light coming on when braking is a broken wire in the drivers side trunk hinge -- seriously ... do a search on the word "hinge" ... there have been countless threads on this issue.
It sounds like the previous owner charged up the A/C just enough to get the car sold. The problem could be a simple leak all the way to a bad compressor. Have a pro put die in the system to see where it is leaking.
Antenna's can be bought on eBay pretty cheap and there are instructions somewhere on this forum on repairing them. Try the search feature of this forum.

trunk hinge wiring harness. look at the hinge on the drivers side with the trunk open. you'll see a wiring harness inside a plastic sheath. pull the sheath apart carefully so you can put it back together, then find the wire that's broken or missing insulation. repair it.
that also could have something to do with the drivability at 70mph.
AC can't be diagnosed ov er the internet, i could fix it if it were in front of me, but therea re too many things going on with AC to be able to do it 2000 miles away.
take it to a shop.
antennas are easy to fix but you have to find out if your motor is bad or the just the antenna mast. test the power supply to the motor and see if it's getting power when you turn the radio on and off. if it is, and if it makes noise when you turn it on and off, then you just need the mast.
