Default Should I buy these wheels?!?!

Should I buy these wheels for my white 98 LS400?

http://www.tirerack.com/wheels/Wheel...=Black+Painted

They are 20's black/black running 245/35R20 tires at stock height.

I figure the black wheels on dark tint will compliment well with the white car.

Any thought/opinions/whatever is appreciated.

I'm with Pure on this one.

Not saying black wheels on a white LS won't work, because I've seen it done on here with great results. Even though they're Enkeis, they just look too generic and....wrong....for the LS.

But hey if you like 'em, I suppose that's all that matters

I would do these Hyper Black LS430 18's
18" Fits Lexus LS430 Style Replica Wheels - Hyper Black -18x7.5-SET
Hyper Black. The finish on this wheel is achieved through several different phases. The finishing process begins with a black powder coat foundation. This is followed by a translucent silver which allows the black foundation to become visible through the silver, producing the color hyper black. The final stage consists of two layers of clear coat. This wheel has a very professional appearance.

Yeah, But some of us would like to see 19's and at least 10J in the back That's why I gave up my OEM LS430's

I wouldn't buy these Enkei's though, there are much better wheels to fit a LS

That's fine, but if I was going to do black this is the way I would go.

Wheel choice is so subjective.....everyone will have mixed opinions / choices.

Tough part is that star design might look weird if the overall car is not modified along with the wheels. I mean, you see other cars (including LS 400's) that have just wheels with no other mods. They have big fender gaps, etc. and they just don't look right. I would recommend looking at the wheel thread on the site - then you could see the many options.

I routinely see the same LS models in Houston that are just plain wrong IMO - geez. I mean, I am no aficionado but I have spent many $$$ on mine to get what I like. Even though IMO it looks fantastic I still get guys that say I screwed it up

The question is " How big is your wallet??" Personally I think those rims look butt ugly. Your LS deserves better. I have some 20's that you might want!! I'll pm you when I get a picture uploaded!! BTW, we have the same car with the same color so you can decide if you like them or not...

Well thanks for the tips guys. This is what we went with. I agree with most of you that the 20's dont fill out the wheel well like i'd like, but with a slight drop IMO it will look very nice.

There are many different directions you can go with when you customize your car. I chose this direction for now, but will probably continue my search for some LS430 wheels. Once I find them these will probably be sold off. So this look is hopefully temporary..

Thanks for the tips etc. Feel free to hate
