a full fluid flush, good ceramic pads, and resurfacing the rotors.

I hear if you rock brakes from a 1990 Ls you are a true baller....just thought you should know. Lmao.........just get some new pads, drilled or slotted rotors and flush and fill the brake system. SS brake lines are always nice.....

Are there any calipers for the rear that are the same size as the front?

no, because that would totally throw off the brake balance and instead of stopping before you hit the tree you'd go into a spin and not see what killed you.

also, slotted and drilled rotors do NOTHING for shortening braking distances or improving brake feel.

True PD, but they do dispense heat a lot faster so lots of stop and go traffic or on a track they perform better under these conditions. The flush and new pads will help with feel and stopping.

actually drilled/slotted/dimpled brakes can help stopping distance because they vent the gas created between the rotor and the pad (this is only under super hard stopping though), BUT drilled rotors also have a chance of cracking under hard braking so i would never recommend them, Dimpled rotors don't really help they can slightly vent but not very well. slotted rotors are the best balance of reliability and performance, they will vent the gas very well and don't have the cracking problems that drilled rotors have,

As far as pads go i recommend EBC Red Stuff or Yellow Stuff... they last a long time and brake very very well plus they are very low dust... Yellow Stuff is a little racier than red stuff... but might work a bit better for hard driving...

If he used a different proportioning valve for the rears...then it would be nicer with 6 pots up front.

Uh-oh...I feel a braking debate coming on. There was that one test with the 350Z that was a good comparison. What was it...stock, factory Brembo and then the aftermarket kit.
