how big can i go with tires?
i am getting 18x8" rims how big can i go with tires (width and profile) without rubbing? stock 2000 ls. thanks

Your OEM tire is 225/60/16 with overall OD of 27.51"
If you don't lower it a nice choice would be 245/60/18" with overall OD of 27.64"
Your speedometer would be about .5% too slow.
I run 245's on the front and they are wide.

225/60-16 has an OD of 26.6"
for a stock height LS, the tire size you want is 245/45-18, with an OD of 26.7"

Ya a 245/60/18 would be a big azz tire. Must have been a type-o.
