Jeez, that's much cheaper than my $136-a-piece Yokohama Avid W4S ones. I thought Nankang had an air of cheapness about them (in terms of quality). Maybe when my Yokos are done, I'll go to Nankang.

How do you like the Yokohama W4S?? I'm right on the fence buying a set. Are they quiet?? We have a set of Toyos on our 06 IS250 that are louder than a Metallica concert. I've heard the Yok's are nice and quiet just wanted your opinion.

I love them. I got them last May and took them off December-early March as I reverted to my stock 16"s for the winter.
They look like they do the day I got them, and I've had no gripes with them. They have a little over 10,000 on them, and they're quite grippy; MUCH stickier than the crap Westlake "summer" tires that were on it when I bought it. But that's like comparing apples and organges.
They're 245/35 R20. The tire shop I bought them from said they were a really good tire, worlds beyond those offered by brands like Achilles and Triangle (which, for some reason, I can't seem to wrap my head around the idea of Triangle tires haha). I think I could've got them cheaper though - I payed around $680 for the whole set, mounted, balanced, etc.

Has anyone tried Formula
https://www.onlinetires.com/products...a-1+++93w.html
What about Achilles

Two Formulas for the front and two Achilles for the back would cost me $408 shipped plus tax. Not to sure if I should do it. I never heard of these brand of tires.

Don't know about Forumla, but the tire shop who ordered my Yokohamas said I was better off paying a little extra and NOT getting Achilles. He said they weren't a BAD tire, but they weren't even close to the Yokohamas in terms of quietness, grip, etc. In so many words, he pretty much said the guys who run those tires are the ones with 24" rims on '86 Monte Carlos.
