Default 1998 LS400 power steering oil leak

after a 1000km HARD run, i was 2 hours from home when i lost the power steering. At first i thought i had a flat tyre but no... i pulled into a gas station and with the engine still running there was oil all around the power steering resovoir and when i took the cap off the oil was very airated and bubbling alot.
when the engine running it didnt seem to leak under the car but when i turned off the motor it began fast dripping under the radiator area. its going up on the hoist in the next few days to investigate.... does anyone have any surgestions as to what it might be ?

Could be that you had a return line rupture. Not a big deal, use standard 3/8" P/S hose or A/T cooler hose to replace the leaking segment.
If its the pressure hose, you'll have to order the right part to replace it.
i just went down to see how hard the steering is now that its cooled down... .... i'm at my girlfriends home and have 100km to my place....i topped up the oil but PS feels non existent...its soooo hard to turn... dam.... i will try to drive it cause i have to get home...... bugger, bugger, bugger....
