Default No power ('92)

HI sorry. Was in a hurry, it's a 1992 Lexus LS and it blew head gaskets, I'm almost done getting all the parts back in place and got the timing belt on so I wanted to check to see if it would turn over and check Compression I get all good numbers but I get no power in the car none at all

Have you ever heard of run-on sentences? You end sentences with a PERIOD.

Where I get horn that's it...what exactly are you talking about?

I wanted to see if it turned over and it did but I'm not getting any power no where I get horn
So if it turned over, you are getting power to the starter and the ignition switch, which is certainly more than just the horn.

Compose your thoughts, organize your symptoms, spell it out, and perhaps tell us what year your car is. thanxsomuchitisdifficulttounderstandtheserun-onstreamofconsciousnessdroolsasifpeoplethinkweareinterestedindecipheringtheirpreciouscompositions

#1 Check battery. Did you reverse the cables by mistake perhaps? Make sure cables are tight.

#2 Check the main fuses to see if any of them blew. Check aux fuses.

Kelley,

According to your PM, you still need help. Might I suggest you put in a little more effort in describing your exact problem of having no power. One lined blurbs is hard to diagnose. How about like: When I turn the key, there is no power. Or I put the key in without turning, and there is nothing. Or no key in, and no headlights, hazards work. See what I mean?

Also you told me you blew 3 fuses. Which ones?

Can you also share if you checked the continuity of the main fuses before proceeding?

When I turn the key i only get the light around the key and 2 fuses that have 20 on them and 1: 15, and when the key is in the ON spot; no lights come on and after I chged the fuese i got head lights and hazards without turning the key, I have not checked the main fuses with a metor but I will

I think your car's immobilizer may be on. Did you try the disarming sequence with the key and the driver's side door?
