My friends and I have just completed installing a bag set up on my 1998 Lexus LS400. The bags work awesome, motor still runs great but for some reason my radio (yakamachi or whatever it's called) will not turn on, the steering wheel no longer tilts right when the key is plugged in, the interior dome lights aren't working, the buttons on my remote are not working (lock, unlock, panic, trunk) and the key trick in the driver door where it locks all doors and rolls all windows up isn't working. I've been told that the anti theft system can cause this to happen. Is there anyway to reset that? Any suggestions?
Thanks

it isn't the security system, you popped a (couple) fuses.

go check the bay fuse box and the under-dash fusebox.

What kind of management did you use for the bags?
Where did you hooked up the electrical?

Manual management and the power wire is in the positive terminal and I think we ran something into the fuse box

Are you 100% it's fuses?

you've given us literally 3 lines of information with no specifics on how your setup was wired. I'm as sure as anyone would expect to be.

go check the fuses and report back after.

If its just a manual set up with ignition ON hooked up on the fuses then you probably blew some fuse like PD stated. Go inspect everything to make sure

I'm with PureDrifter on this one...in order to solve the problem, we need to know what wires you tapped into and such.

Clearly based on whats not working, its something related to the switched power you used or you popped a fuse while working on it. Have you retraced your steps, checked the wiring and the fuses?
