I thinking about getting either H&R or Eibach Springs for my 92 LS. What can expect in ride quality over stock. I have 18s with 235/40s the ride not bad stock but that gap between fender and rim looks bad.

Generally speaking Eibach's are a little less harsh than H&R..but H&R's will give you a little bit better steering response&handling. L-tuned springs are just repackaged Eibach's.

I have the Eibach and Tokico struts.
The actual handling improved and the ride quality is just a tad less smooth but still smooth as silk.

I heard that if the springs list a 1inch drop it will eventually be 1 1/2 inch after the break in period is this true Loule?

Yea, once the springs are broken in they tend to settle 1/4" to 1/2" more.

I put Eibach Sport Springs on my '99 LS400 and had a few problems. I contacted the tech support guys and they were no help at all. After having it professionally lowered and precision aligned, it rattles in the back. It only rattles in the strut cavity when you go over bumps.

This is the exact same sound my '91 Acura Legend had when lowered with Eibach ? Very weird and annoying. However on the Acura I had a big stereo and I could not hear the rattling and it was not as obvious. Now with my '99 with NAV I don't have a big stereo to drown out noise. Has anyone heard of this????

In 98 they revised the rear subframe mounts..and this made the suspension a bit firmer. I have noticed the same thing you described on a stock 98 LS.... replacing the rear subframe bushings with new OEM bushings might fix it. New shock mounts wouldnt hurt....along with new shocks. Bilsteins are apparently the best match to Eibachs and H&R s springs. KYB and Tokico are probably the next best choice....Tokico being the roughest riding of the three & KYB being the softest.

what does a ls400 look like lowered state side. send some pic guys . I want to make my car look like the wald kit. but a tad higer 2inches. Just don't know where to buy drop kit
