Default 97 ls400 front brakes DIY

I have searched and i cannot find a DIY with pics on how to change these brakes. I found the repair manuals but they were no real help. Any help would be great. Thanks and Happy Holidays.

check the faq, there's a rotor change tutorial you can still use if you only plan on changing the pads.

Also looking for recommendations about pads and rotors as there isn't a lot of aftermarket support.

I did the brakes on the '95 nightmare a couple of days ago. VERY easy to do a pad slap on. I used pliers to tear the pins off the calipers and to pull the pads out. Then I used a pry bar to jam the pistons back in, and then slapped the new pads on. Bada-bing

I upgraded the brake lines to stainless steel, put on cross-drilled and slotted rotors with ceramic pads from r1concepts.com. WOW! What a difference! I did the same mod on my 96 LS and my 2003 LS.
R1concepts website doesn't show all the parts they carry for Lexus so call their tech support and they can make recommendations.
