flooded trunk
I have had my 1999 LS 400 for several years and have noticed a musty smell in my trunk before but I just discovered yesterday that my trunk was full of water. We have had a lot of rain recently but no leaks that I know of. Has anyone else had this problem? How do I need to attack this? No leaks appear in the trunk seal itself.

We got a lot of rain recently and the same thing happened to my '98 LS. I had an independent mechanic look it over and he replaced the trunk seal. It hasn't rain since i had it done. I hope it solves the problem.

my trunk was leaking also.and my seal did not appear to be ripped.....the problem was the glue that holds the seal on. lost its strength and water passed threw the bottom of the seal
