Default Recommend a strut..

I need to replace my front struts..Any recommendations? I want a really smooth ride..don't care much for racing/handling/cornering.

Monroe sensatrac? Tokico HP? KYB GR2? Halp!

Thanks =)

According to lexls the install seems pretty easy. =) I'll find out after Christmas..

the compressing of the spring is the harder part if you do it with hand tool...other than that straight forward as on lexls.

Most automotive places will do it for you pretty cheap. Doesn't take much time with the right tools. (spring compressor)

Meh. I quoted the prices wrong..they were listed incorrectly on a website.

Here's the lowest I found..

http://www.amazon.com/KYB-341160-GR-.../dp/B0006HNRJ8 341160 $74.44

http://www.amazon.com/KYB-341159-GR-...1439975&sr=1-1 341159 $76.48

For the guys recommending the KYB's, are you running them? How close are they in ride to the OEM's? I'm thinking about doing all four as well...

Thanks

Toxictv,

FYI,

I went to KYB's website and downloaded their application catalog. 341160 has been replaced with 341268 for the rear struts. The catalog is current as of December 2009.
341159 is still the current part number for the front strut. Amazon has the new part number as well.

Jim
