Default 92 vs 93-94 Headlight Question

I hit a deer the other day and broke my RH headlight bucket. The glass itself is OK. I know the 93-94s use a different bulb. Can I use put the 92 headlight into a 93-94 headlight assembly?

Physically they will be a perfect match with no issues at all. You will have to redo the wiring to fit the new headlight since you will be going from a 9003 to a H4(9004) bulb. You can get the wire harness from any local Autozone for like $10; and there is a tutorial here on how to wire. Will see if I can find it.

***EDIT****

Found what you need. The wire harness from Autozone is PulseFX 84790. It is the same wire harness that we have to use for the PRE 93 cars when we decide to run the JDM 1 piece headlights, due to them being a 9003 bulb.

This is how to connect the new wire heaness to your existing wires. Fogs will still work and do not require you to change the bulb.

Thanks for the response. Actually, I has hoping to remove the headlight in the 93-94 assembly and install the original 92 headlight in the assembly so both sides match. I just don't know if the hradlight mounting (adjustors, pivot points, etc.) is the same. I'm assuming there may be a visible difference between the lights and/or bulbs from the outside.

Trukn1 is absolutely correct. The housing is the same.

Thanks for the help. It's nice to know that option exists.

Only difference in the headlights for the cars POST 92 is the bulbs. Housings, mounting points, etc are all the same. If you want both sides to match you will simply need to use BOTH headlights from the 93/93 and wire BOTH sides using the link I sent you; otherwise you can just wire the one side that was damaged. Positive note,,,if you ever decide to run the JDM headlights, the wiring will already be done.
