Default 93 LS with oil leak

Well i found a local LS for sale '93 with 130k overall really good condition but he said its leaks oil. When i emailed him for more info this is what he said: ''I replaced the oil pan gasket, that was not it , doesn't drip while running and parked, just while driving and when you park it, it leaves a mess on the driverside front of the motor, lower portion''... Any idea what this could be? Is it worth checking out the car he wants $2k obviously i would offer less if its an easy fix.

Hey, driver's side front area... sounds like it's coming from the oil filter housing, there is an o-ring that the housing bolts on top of that could be leaking... Slvr, I remember you coming through my thread not too long ago, if you look back through it i'm sure you'll get a little better idea of where it might be coming from. It could be a cam seal, valve cover gasket, front main seal, or any other number of gaskets. The good news is that if you have some mechanical ability, this should not scare you away as it is a good lever for reducing the price, considering the price that a shop would charge. Pictures > words, as its impossible for us to really see whats going on with the ride and whether it's worth it or not. Just from the sound of it, I would just guess around $1,200 would be a much as I'd offer.

hmm well good to know i fuigured it was most likely some bad seal somewhere. I'm no mechanic but i no people who can work on it so i wouldnt be getting raped at the dealership lol. I'm got the vin and carfax said no accidents (i didnt pay for the full report) and he isnt far dunn if he would drop the price $800 lol but i'll prob swing by to check it out.
