Whenever the AC is turned on there is a loud noise from under the hood, I dont usually use it because of this but since I am waiting for my master control switch to come in none of the windows roll down! Tuesday is looking to be 100degrees over here in CA

is it safe to run the AC despite this rather loud noise?? The noise does not seem to effect the performance of the car and as soon as I turn it off its back to a quiet ride.

also on a side note the Sport(suspension im guessing) light is on even though the button is set to normal. whats up with that?

On the AC question, you need more oil in your system. If your compressor is on and it sounds like angry bees, that quieted my system a lot.
