Default removing wax stains from lower panels

my 92 ls400 is white with the silver lower section.....the silver section has wax stains....how can i remove them?....i have tryed compound from 3m and turtle wax......scratch x and ice claybar....nothing seems to work.....are these panels metal?

dish washing soap is known to strip wax from paint..maybe u can try it

Dawn Dish Detergent is usually specified to remove wax. Simple Green might do it as well since its a degreaser.

If it's on the clear coat, I would try some light wetsanding with 2000-3000 grit sand paper then buff it out with the compound. I would advise against any type of dishwashing soap, because they tend to have a higher PH (Acidity). This is a no-no for clearcoats.

buff them off with a buffer using some 3m polish..when i wash my car i use nothing but hot water..i never use any type of soap

Mr. Clean Magic Eraser? Works great for removing wax from plastic parts at least...
