Default Engine start problem

So my dad tried to fix my LS because it was supposly having leaking problem or something. there was nothing really wrong with it before. So I asked him what he was trying to do and he said he was trying to "bypass" something.. and i saw him unplug a tube that connects to the engine. Now the car wont even start....Any ideas to whats going on?

Thanks

Ok, he unplugged the hose but didn't plug the hole in the plenum or the hose itself? What the heck was leaking? Need more info. Sounds like what Pure said, make sure the AFM is connected.

that hose goes to your power steering idle up valve...plug it back in....or plug the hole in your intake and plug the hose

sounds like it starts and dies, vacuum line routing is likely off.
