OK! So I picked it up after some issues with getting the keys...Anyways, long day.

Got it with me now. Car runs great, brakes are great, engine sounds perfect and the body is in great shape.

I have to look into the O2 sensors about the check engine light and TRAC light. I believe theres also a small power steering leak but nothing major at the moment.

I am wondering about one thing however. The RPM gauge is reading super low. The engine sounds like its running perfectly right, but the rpm gauge is really low compared to where it should be. I mean like 100rpm at idle, etc etc.

Any ideas?

Oh and after a 5 hour drive back home, I noticed the engine ticks. Any insight?

Nevermind all the questions, I posted them and then researched them. Don't underestimate the great info source that is the internets and club lexus!

welcome...I have a 92 and it has a tick and i don't think my rpm gauge reads correctly either

ticking? u do know that when your injectors are clean and in perfect working condition they do "tick"

valve ticking...notorious on the LS. mines gotten a wee bit louder now.

Do you guys see the plates on the car?

I erased them but they are showing for some reason, only sometimes...

nice car.....no i don't see the plates....yes all cars have some injector tick..but i am having a slight valve tick also

what was the deal with the low rpm ?

Looks like the cluster is just messed up a bit. Low rpm and the temp gauge is also messed a bit.
