Hey I recently purchased 10000k D2R replacement bulbs for my 1999 Lexus LS400 and when i brake hard my bulb on the passenger side goes out is it because of the ballast the headlight housing or the bulb?

Follow logic and swap the bulbs. If the problem persists, the likely culprit is the ballast.

10000k? Do those light more than 6 feet of road in front of you?

10k are more bright, the higher K u go the less light visablity, but i maybe wrong.. may wanna double check^^

(light output)brightness is inversely related to color temperature in kelvins.

actually it does look better more visible but the road looks blueish

wait till you take that long drive gona super fatigue your eye. i use to have 8k and 10k fogs. i drove from sd to la one time o man i thought my eyes where gona die haha

lets not even start a debate, you can reasonably make the argument that you got 10,000K bulbs because you like the way they look but they are a downgrade in terms of actual light output from working OEM HID bulbs. no questions asked.

but back to the thread, check the connections at the bulb
