Question hey guys and girls i have a question? (coilovers)

i was wondering what type of coilovers should i get for my 90 ls400. i was told from someone that certain coilovers;for exmple, megan, k sport have the same spring rate, and because my car is heavy my suspension can become messed up. so what coilovers should i get that are good but not so pricy...

what do you mean "have the same spring rate"

the car being heavy part is irrelevant, its because its so heavy the spring rate is so high......

search a bit, we have guys using both setups as well as some of the pricier JIC coils.

like soft or stiff, so Megan or k sport are good coilovers then

Welcome to CL - Wow, this has been covered multiple times in many threads - but I would say the most popular among members are the Megans for price, functionality, etc.

I don't fully understand what you wrote about suspension getting messed up. If you are referring to components like lower, upper ball joints, strut rods and other bushings having a "shorter life span" then yes I would say so when the vehicle is lowered.

Lol PD you are crazy! I have th Megan's and love them. I have around 20k miles on them with no problems. We have many vendors that you can pm and ask any additional questions like prices etc in the vendor marketplace.
