The maximas are pretty quick..watch out. He might take you off the line for a bit, but higher speeds like 50-60+ you should be able to win.

That is exactly what is going to happen. You will start pulling him at 40+ like crazy. On a freeway it is going to be absolute murder. Done that before.

I am talking about the '96 Maximas...those new ones can be fast as hell, still LS takes them on a freeway no problem...still a V6.

the 96 Maxima's are lighter but I have about 190 HP's where as my car is heavier and has 240-150 HP's so I guess it might come close but I'll put that ECT Power button on and it'll go faster.....anybody ever put that button on the freeway I went from 80-100 in 3 seconds!!!

you have 250hp and maxima is 190. On a freeway you are going to laugh your *** of about how bad you kill that dude. Of the line you will start catching up after 4mph big time. I have done these races and believe me they are no match. Also if you push overdrive on freeway it will work something like downshift and untill 90 or 100 you will be accelerating like mad.

but we're not going to race on the freeway, if you've ever been to the Saticoy races in Van Nuys...on on Saticoy & whittsett all the way down Coldwater Canyon it's exactly a quarter of a mile.......we'll be racing there...any insights on that?

Just look up the track times for each car. Beats an ego-filled argument.

Stock LS vs. Stock Maxima........LS has no chance at all. From 0-135mph, Maxima will lead all the way no matter red light or freeway.

Dude, you have heavy *** 20's. Stock LS with normally adjusted ECU (stock intelligent tranny adjustment) is pretty mean...40mph and up Maxima has NO chance. I have proven that too many times on the road.

Kenji,

Didn't you say your ride went 0-60mph in 12 sec? At the rate even a "souped" up turtle can outrun your ride.
