New member - LS430UL ****
Good Evening Fellow members!
Today, I purchased my Silver Exterior with Black Interior LS430 Ultra Luxury from Longo Lexus in El Monte, Ca.
My sales man was David Ishadia. He's a great guy, and gave me an awesome deal.
I traded in my 1996 BMW 740IL with 86,000 miles. IT was a tough decision, the Bimmer had been good to me for many years. And drove like a 5 star car should. But dealer service was subpar.
It was a tough choice between a S430, 745IL, and the LS430. I want to thank the following members for all their support and for giving me info about the Lexus cars and the Lexus way.
Special thanks to MKILTY, Celsior (EDOGG), ECRU, Retrodrive, and GS4WILL.
Additional thanks to Sweetsound2001, Videonavi, Ivangundy, and Leeladisky.
Without you guys I would not have bought my Lexus. Thanks for putting up with my questions, comments, and sometimes silly posts. You guys may not know me, but your replies to my questions really helped.
Let me say Lexus dealerships are not snobby like some other (hmmm .. cough ... MB and BMW). They treat you like a buying customer. With a sales staff and service staff like no other. They really really really DO care about your buying experience, and your service experience.
I look forward to helping anyone answer their questions about their LS430UL.
And the paid membership is in the mail shortly, by next week.
I am here in Porter Ranch in Northridge, Ca. So if anyone wants to hookup, let me know.

yeah i hate bmw and mb...
when i went to their dealer, i was treated like **** and they didnt think i would be buying a car or even be interested because their costs are too high for me... lol...
so i went to Lexus, but the best coupe in the world, and drove it onto their lot, scared away two customers, and yelled at the dealer manager.
Now doesnt that make you feel good that lexus service is world class and bmw and mb isnt???

Critical factors
Viperman, since you owned a 7401l (I used to own a '93 750 iL), how did you find the handling of the Lex? Does the air suspension make a noticeable difference? What impressed you most?

Beautiful color combination you chose. My wife and I have our eyes set on that Burgundy color with black leather (perforated). The UL package is something to keep saving for or else the car just seems like every other large luxury cruiser out there.
