injector question

Hi, when i replaced the o-rings on my injectors..the green insulator cover fell apart on them.what does the cover do? and what will it hurt to run without then? I enclosed a picture

dont worry about it, in fact i have some injectors for a sc400,they will work in ur car and have more output as well

will they now, iirc the 1uz series uses the same injector regardless of which car?
(ie-95 LS and SC use the same injectors/fuel system layout)
