Got them this way rather than ebay because he was offering a 2 year warranty. I've had to replace one of them in the year and a bit that I've had them.
They can be had all over ebay though.
When I got mine I bought just the bulbs and the control relay becuase I already had ballasts from my hid lo/halogen hi kit. He charged $75ca back then for just the bulbs and the wiring kit with the relay.
You should be able to score some on ebay for about $80 with ballasts now. No word on quality though but I trusted his cause he was willing to give a warranty on it.
Do you by chance have a pic of your lights at night and the spec's on yours (4300k etc...) ? I'm assuming its the lense on the first gen that scatters the light? How much improvement is there over a standard or Silverstar bulb? You lose the highbeams too, correct?

Yes, the dispersal of the lens on a 90-92 is absolute ****. I've seen a 93-94 and its more manageable. You can aim them low and it's not too bad.
Just go Eagle Eyes, add a couple of projectors, and then it'll look nicer.
They appear to be very inexpensive. It looks like they have a separate relay for each side which is good. You don't lose both of your headlights if one of the relays were to fail.
I have XenonDepot HID's installed in my 08 GX470. They are just the lows and cost at least four times what these cost. I think they're Sylvania components on the XenonDepot. What do you think, do you get what you pay for with HID's?

I see I should be looking for 35W for optimal lifetime, and less glare...
So I think I'm looking for a 35W 5000k Bi-Xenon kit. (H4/9003)
Even with all these attributes would there still be a lot of glare and blind oncoming drivers??
I've seen some that are also designed with the same focal points as halogen bulbs to even further reduce glare. . . Is this true to all or just specific ones??
How would it stack up against my current Silverstars? I don't want to spend $1-200 for less light output and horrible pattern.
you won't get any real "cutoff" line from the glass lenses on the 1st and early 2nd gen cars.
