Washed engine and now electrical going haywire and wont start!!! plz help!!!
Hi hows it goin guys im new to the forum but you guys have been helping for quite sometime now.. i recently was doing to basic maintenance on my 91 LS400 (Oil Change, Tranny Fluid Drain and Refill) and after me and my grandfather wanted to wash the engine compartment... i went down the my local kragen auto and bought the gunk foam cleaner for the engine and after washing the engine started right up with no problem, but i did notice that my Low oil light was on and my low coolant light was on (figured it got wet), i probably figured it just needed to dry out for a few days or so. After driving about 30-40 miles on the freeway when i shut the car off and started it again it barely started (i needed to gas it to start).. then i started noticing that the whole dash started blinking on and off especially at low speeds... then heres comees the best part.. im in the drive thru and after idiling for about 2 minutes the car just dies and wont start again.. i got a jump and it started but then made it about half a mile before coming to a stop light and it died again.. im totally confused about whats going on and im asking for help so plz help thanx guys!!!!!!!!!

You are supposed to either cover the electrical components or use an air gun to clear the moisture out of them. By failing to do so, you could have caused multiple shorts in your system
I would let try and locate a compressor, clear out around the electrical components (be very careful when spraying the compressed air at the AFM), pull your ECU fuse and replace, then try turning on the car again.

Thanks for the help.. i took it too my local mechanic and did an alternator test and it failed, luckily i had replaced the alternator a few months back and i have lifetime warranty so i had it replaced for free and just had to pay labor. After installing the new alternator it started right up and all the sensor lights in the dash were shut off, so im thinkin the alternator was the only problem, all in all i learned alot thanks
