What do I need to know? Any Tips?

I have a 93 and it hurts to give her up.... Ive put a LOT of $ into her and time.

But after having her for a WHOPPING 10k miles I just feel its better to have a 98-00 edition.
so like I asked before.... What are the basics?

no.1 rule:
Search Before Asking Please

basics are the same as for the 93, check vin, check maint. history, buy at market value or lower.

Trade that puppy in! One thing is for sure, the first time you stomp on the gas you will forget you had a 93. I had a 91 for five weeks before I got my 99 and when you first get in you will feel right at home aside from the more comfortable seats. It feels much different (better) when you start driving it.

I'm gonna go out on a limb here but when I test drove an 08 LS460L I was shocked at just how advanced the 98-00 is, and appreciated my car that much more . The 460L did not feel any faster to me seat of the pants either, while the 600HL felt more responsive and much faster. The 460 to the 600 felt almost like the difference between first gen and 98-00. Any one else share the same view?
