i took my car in to have a safety inspection done because im going on a trip to washington,i also had my brake fluid flushed,both of my rear axles are spewing grease,funny this happened shortly after i lowered the car, anyways i bought reman cardones from work and they only cost me 77.46 each, im having em put in today....anyone who has lowered their car might wanna check their axles

i've seen that happen on some old nissans and cressidas, when lowered the angle the axle goes into the hub changes, slightly, but it's enough to spew grease out of any leaks that might have been there, or if the grease had broken down over time.

new axles should solve your problem.

yup mine did that too. the boots are ok, just the seams kinda loosened up a bit allowing some grease to come out. i didnt' worry about it. if a lot comes out i'll inject some more back in from time to time.

job done! boy were they f'ed up, i had a slight vibration at 95+ mph....no more, took it up to 110mph on the way home last night and its like glass
