Default Just bought my long awaited 95 UCF20

Hey guys,

I just bought my 95 LS400. It's very nice. It needs a little but of body work but Montreal is known for wrecking cars . It has slight rust on the rear quarters and it needs a compound. What do you guys suggest I do about the rust?

P.S.: I'll post pics soon, it's raining now .

How bad is the rust? Has it already taken away enough metal or is it just on the surface a bit?

Talking Congratulations on your 95 ls

I have some rust that has appeared over the right and left rear wheels of my 95 ls.I'm wondering if I should unscrew and remove the plastic sheaths as they seem to be letting in and trapping moisture and dirt...Let me know where you take it or what you do to tackle the rust.I'm also from Montreal and I know exactly what you mean about "wrecking" cars". If you don't mind me asking, how much did you pay for it and what's the mileage?
Looking forward to the pictures.
