Intro: CL Newbie
Hey Dudes and Dudettes,
Just wanted to introduce myself and my newly acquired 2000 LS400. Thought I'd take the time and post a few picks as well. Looking forward to a good time here...
The ride is basically stock at this point; however, I've definitely got to do something about the ride height. It looks like a 4X4...
I'm also contemplating changing the wheels to something with a Satin/Polished look instead of the current chromies that are on the car...not sure just yet. Maybe after I drop it, I'll think differently...
So far I've met some really great folks on the various forums that I belong too. I hope the traditions carries on here as well...
Ciao,
Jitters

Thanks Li,
What about something like this...not too low....
I'll probably go with Megan CO's like I did on my SC...however, my only issue was the ride...nothing like OEM....
I just don't want it to ride like a track car...

So if i understand this correctly...You purchase a set of coilovers for say 850.00 and that compares to the cost of purchasing lowering springs,4 struts and upper mounts which when totaled will exceed the cost of the CO's...Am i on the right track?

Ditto...
The adjustability of the coil-overs make them a better choice than just lowering the car with coil springs. Not only do you get the benefit of being able to adjust the ride height to your taste but you also get the added benefit of adjusting the ride to either soft or hard.
