Hi, I just bought a 1994 ls400 with 55000 miles on it for 3500 so I think I got a good deal its pearl white and pretty clean for the most part. I have a few 1st gen problems, powersteering leaking causing white smoke, high pressure hose leaks also rack sometimes stop working when at a stop or driving really slow, was wondering if cleaning the screens on the rack and pump will help or should I be looking for a new rack, also was wondering if any other stock lexus wheels will fit the 1st gen, thanks

cleaning the solenoid screen won't help you, you're too far past that. It's your pump not the rack (IMO) that needs attention.

do a search or read some of the recent threads, you won't have to go back far to find the answer to your questions.
